Adasa shows in the Bandera Azul Congress how aquaBio automatically and continuously monitors the contamination of bathing water

Adasa exhibited the features and applications of aquaBio, a device for monitoring, identification and measurement of microbiological indicators of contamination in bathing water at the 2nd International Bandera Azul Congress held in Alicante and Gandía from 22 to 24 October.

aquaBio, designed, manufactured, deployed and maintained by Adasa, monitors the presence of E. coli (Escherichia coli) and Enterococcci automatically, continuously and online, making it the perfect ally for monitoring bathing water quality.

For example, the episode mode is activated during heavy rainfall events, which can lead to the discharge of DSU's into the sea, and allows you to know the exact moment when the water quality returns to the right levels.

aquaBio's technology provides reliable results accredited by the independent verification body ETV (Environmental Technology Verification) in much less time than is needed for conventional sampling.

In this way, decisions can be made with complete confidence and a safe bathing experience for users can be guaranteed.

aquaBio's continuous, daily monitoring of water quality status provides up-to-date information that exceeds the testing requirements of the European Bathing Water Directive (DIR 2006/7/EC).

We would like to thank the Bandera Azul Congress organizers for the opportunity to show water professionals how aquaBio helps to monitor bathing water quality.
