Adasa supplies instrumentation for the integral digitalisation of the sewerage systems of the Besòs Tordera Consortium
Adasa is to supply Sentry and aquaTest monitoring equipment for the integral digitalisation of the sanitation systems of the Besòs River Basin at the Granollers, La Llagosta and Montornés del Vallès facilities (Catalonia). The project is part of the PAITIDA Project, which aims to ensure the quality and availability of the resource in its supply.
Sentry offers a real-time wastewater quality monitoring system that monitors biological health, optimises performance and provides early warnings of imbalances in the system. It provides reliable minute-by-minute information that ensures the facility is protected from changes in quality.
aquaTest is a continuous urban wastewater pollution monitoring and surface mounted offline multi-parameter systems for measurement of:
- temperature,
- pH,
- redox,
- conductivity,
- turbidity,
- dissolved oxygen,
- organic matter,
- COD,
- and suspended matter.
aquaTest includes a wastewater recirculation system, a probe housing tank, the configuration and processing unit, the telecommunication system and the power supply.
Holistic vision for the sound management of water resources
A dynamic view of water quality has become a necessity for the proper management of the world's water resources. This requires the basic and meaningful abstraction of water bodies. The combination of these measures provides the necessary information for the diagnosis of the origin and causes of the alterations of the environment.
It is very useful for the determination of water quality, detection and characterisation of discharges, collectors and the operation of wastewater treatment plants.

PAITIDA Project
The project includes some thirty actions organised along three axes:
1. Axis 1: Modelling and sensorisation, which will allow the drafting of three PIGSS (Integrated Management Plans for the Sanitation System) and includes the acquisition of Adasa's technological solutions by Drenatges Urbans del Besòs. The Besòs Tordera Consortium has been the promoter of the PAITIDA Project, subsidised by the PERTE for the digitalisation of the MITECO water cycle.
2. Axis 2: focused on the drafting of projects to increase the water reserve (ERA and aquifer recharge);
3. Axis 3: focused on the creation of a digital management platform, which will integrate data and processes to optimise the operation of the system.
