Adasa promotes innovation in the water sector at Smagua as part of the INNO4H2O ecosystem

At Adasa, innovation is the driving force behind our commitment to efficient and sustainable water management. That is why we are proud to be an active part of the INNO4H2O ecosystem, a key initiative to transform the water sector through collaboration, technology and a vision of the future that we have presented at the international water and irrigation exhibition Smagua.

INNO4H2O is an innovation ecosystem in the water sector funded by the CDTI, whose main objective is to provide innovative solutions for the efficient management of water resources. This ambitious project seeks to promote advanced water treatment with sustainable technologies, reduce energy consumption and minimize environmental impact.

In essence, INNO4H2O facilitates the implementation of enabling technologies based on Cervera networks, addressing the challenges faced by the water industry to improve and optimize management, promote reuse and generate water resources safely and efficiently.

This initiative is aligned with European and national water reuse and circular economy strategies, the Spanish WATER Technology Platform (PTEA) strategy and the WATER4ALL partnership, making it a key driver for achieving sustainability goals in the sector.

The INNO4H2O axes: A comprehensive approach to innovation in the water sector

INNO4H2O is structured around three main lines of action:

  1. Circular Economy: Treatment and Purification Technologies: This axis focuses on innovation in sanitation and purification, obtaining solutions that ensure access to high quality drinking water and creating a sustainable circular water economy.
  2. Smart Water: AI and Advanced Digitalization: This axis focuses on optimizing the management of distribution and sanitation networks with ICT technologies, transforming data into better planning and management, using AI to improve the efficiency of water systems in real time and ensuring the proper functioning of sanitation networks with technologies such as NLP or Augmented Reality.
  3. Water-Energy: Energy Efficiency and Integration of Renewables: This axis seeks to optimize water and energy efficiency in distribution and sanitation networks, energy optimization of purification and treatment processes and the integration of renewable energy generation solutions in the integral water cycle.

Adasa's role in INNO4H2O: Providing innovative technology solutions

At Adasa we are committed to these objectives and actively participate in the development of innovative technological solutions that address the challenges of the water sector.

Within the A2 services (ICT Technologies) of the INNO4H2O ecosystem, Adasa leads two outstanding solutions:

  1. Smart Sewer System Management: this service implements the control of spillways through advanced measurement systems, modeling the behavior of the collector and combining it with meteorological information to generate a forecasting system that alerts on the activation of spillways. It also provides a dashboard for managing the water balance.
  2. Urban Water Platform as a Service: This platform optimizes treatment plants through a modern simulation module for mathematical modeling, simulation, optimization and management of wastewater treatment plants.

These solutions, together with our aquaBio and VECOLI technologies, demonstrate our commitment to innovation in the water sector and our ability to offer comprehensive solutions that improve the efficiency, sustainability and management of water resources.

Conclusions: Adasa and INNO4H2O, a commitment to the future of water

At Adasa, we believe that collaboration and innovation are key to building a future in which water is managed efficiently, sustainably and equitably.

We invite you to join us in this journey towards a more innovative and sustainable water sector.
